3 For behold, they (A)have lain in wait for my soul;
[a]Fierce men [b](B)launch an attack against me,
(C)Not for my transgression nor for my sin, O Yahweh,
4 [c](D)For no guilt of mine, they run and set themselves against me.
(E)Arouse Yourself to meet me, and see!
5 You, (F)O Yahweh God of hosts, the God of Israel,
Awake to [d](G)punish all the nations;
(H)Do not be gracious to any who are treacherous in [e]iniquity. [f]Selah.
